Website Content Management Systems (CMS) for example WordPress and Joomla are well becoming a common phenomenon with each passing day but what happens when your wordpress website gets hacked and your website is taken over, and the email address is changed, there are various solutions you will find online but the simplest is;
— Access your website control panel from your hosting provider
— Select PhpMyAdmin
— Browse to your website database wp_users table
— Select affected user, edit and update email details to your account
— Go to your website admin page www../<wp-admin page>
— Enter username and select forgot password.
— You will receive an email with your new password
The assumption is that they haven’t hacked your control panel but only your word press website.
